I've about concluded that he ain't comin'. An' so I come over to Dry Bottom to find a man." "You've found one," smiled the stranger. Stafford drew out a handful of double eagles and pressed them into the other's hand. "I'm goin' over to the Two Diamond now," he said. "You'd better wait a day or two, so's no one will get wise. Come right to me, like you was wantin' a job." He started toward the hitching rail for his pony, hesitated and then walked back. "I didn't get your name," he smiled. The stranger's eyes glittered humorously. "It's Ferguson," he said quietly. Stafford's eyes widened with astonishment. Then his right hand went out and grasped the other's. "Well, now," he said warmly, "that's what I call luck." Ferguson smiled. "Mebbe it's luck," he returned. "But before I go over to work for you there's got to be an understandin'. The TwoGun Man Charles Alden Seltzer 9781542632997 Books Reviews
I enjoyed reading this western story about an honest gunman that was hired to find cattle thieves. This story has an interesting romantic relationship between the gunman and a young woman doctor \writer.
I've recently read several western books written around 1900. All of them use the lingo of that period. Most of these books are easy to understand and are very enjoyable. Some the conversations are almost impossible to understand and I have to spend so much time trying to follow what is being said. This is one of the easier to understand and the story although predictable is very good.
Written in such a manner to make it most difficult to quit reading.I fu
Lly enjoyed from beginning to the end
My 95-year-old father ordered this; I have the accessible email and with Dad's limited income, he is want to keep his reading choices to free titles in the western genre. In addition, as I surely failed to convey earlier, the purchase of a cover was made but no suitable cover is received to date, only a too-small cover which came with the Paperwhite e-reader.
I cannot provide proper reviews of above titles; Dad reads and continues somewhat effortlessly, letting me know when I need to look for new titles.
Thank you for your attention to this late communication.

This book is full of excitement and entwined with a love story
It has rustling - gun play and keeps you interested. I read this a couple of years ago and just finished reading it again. It was still good the second time around.
A very good read. Has all the elements that old west story should have. Good and bad guys, beautify country, and of course romance. The characters were realistic and the story moved along at a good pace which keeps you wanting to red on.
I enjoy old westerns, stories that were written early in the 2000th century. These books by Zane Grey, Frank Spearman, Francis Lynde, Ridgwell Cullun and others that are in the public domain and are all strictly for pleasure reading, romance but very little pure sex and very little bad language. I had never heard of Charles Alden Selzer but his book falls right in the class of these other authors. I will be ordering more of his books. If you like western stories the old fashion way this is a good choice.
