The Correct Way to Fill Out Form PCR103u eBook Sabrina Chase
I agree that this short -- and I do mean *short* -- story is an amusing little distraction, just the thing when you are not in the mood for yet another mighty-thewed hero, with a sorcerer sidekick, to slay his gore-tastic way through more enemies than the land's subsistence agriculture could ever feed.In fact, the story is hilarious, from what the author presses into service as title and chapter titles to the artifacts revealed in the ending. I love it!
And yet, only three stars -- because the price is outrageous. Usually, for about 5000 "location" points, one pays $3 (self-published books) to $10 ("agency pricing" rape, authorized by America's criminal class, i.e. Congress). Since I try to avoid the latter prices, I generally figure at least 800 locations to the dollar.
This story? About four times as much per word.
Dear Mrs Chase: My enjoyment of your excellent sense of humor is sensibly reduced if I run out of story, barely five minutes after dropping a dollar for the story. Perhaps you could collect a few of your shorts into something that resembles, both in length and price, a book?

The Correct Way to Fill Out Form PCR103u eBook Sabrina Chase Reviews
I'm sure we've all stumbled across a vending machine in an out-of-the way place and wondered how it got there. Now I know.
Yes it is not a full-length novel. But this gem is oh, so enjoyable! Everything by Sabrina Chase is well crafted, well edited, and enjoyable.
We like to read aloud at our house sometimes. Not all books and stories lend themselves to being read aloud. This story was a delight to read, both because of the music of the language and also because it was great fun to see imagination running full-blast behind the faces of my audience! A treat!
When I first cane across the title of this "book," which I shall endeavor NOT to repeat, even once, in this review, I was intrigued. What kind of story would have this kind of title?
It turns out the form is needed to "save the day." Sabrina Chase has a delightful ability to seamlessly weave her unique sense of humor into an otherwise nondescript story. A poor accountant has his first day at the office and starts noticing something unusual going on. He eventually wanders around and comes across an old fashioned soda vending machine. It even has GRAPE SODA!!! But the machine turns out to be dangerous to mankind. . .
The story is short but to the point. And I think it is well worth the buck I paid. I hope Ms. Chase will consider writing more such stories.
This short story shows Sabrina Chase's ability to combine a clever concept with laugh out loud humor. Some feel 99 cents is too much for such a brief read but I disagree. For less than the cost of a can of soda which is quickly gone forever, I'll re-read this now and then for a pleasant respite from weightier matters. And it serves as a gateway to her other "Bureau of Substandards" stories.
